Wind Turbines
The Windterra Wind Turbine has been generating electricity here at Lifestyle Energy since June 2009. It has drawn a lot of attention and interest. The Windterra Wind Turbine is installed on our building as a grid tie system, meaning that the electricity that it generates causes our electric meter to spin slower than it would without the wind turbine. The Windterra Wind Turbine is designed to be mounted on a residential roof - straddling the peak. It is a supplemental unit - this wind turbine will not generate enough electricity to replace your reliance on the electric company. And, it is only generating electricity when there is wind.
